2-Year Old Preschool Class
Children must be two on or before August 1st (of the coming year) to enroll and have turned two before actually starting in the room.
3-Year Old Preschool Class
Children must be three by August 1st to enroll in this class. Independent toilet use is strongly encouraged before enrollment in this room.
4-5 year old-Pre-K Class
Children must be four by August 1st to enroll in this class. Designed for those entering Kindergarten the following fall. Children in our All Day program also have preschool curriculum in the afternoon, following a lunch and rest hour.
Daily Schedule:
Each class starts with the morning with a free choice time where children choose an activity from a variety of interest centers. We balance active and quiet activities as well as providing for both teacher and child-directed activities. Art, reading readiness, language development, ABCs, Spanish, math and music are important parts of our curriculum. We have daily outside time and also have an indoor activity room for inclement weather.
Children in our 2 yr. old and 3 yr. old who are enrolled in our Full Day program eat lunch followed by nap and snack times. Children in our Full Day Pre-K program also have classes in the afternoon following lunch and a short rest time.
